Masculine card with Papertrey Ink Woodwork Die
This post is for Male Room Blog Challenge with wood theme. I decided to make a couple of cards for mu husband’s birthday - one from me and one from our sons. I’m usually making cards for immediate family the last minute, so now that I am entering weekly and monthly challenges, I am making them way in advance and have a system in place (which I will share at some point) to keep track of cards for various birthdays, anniversaries etc in a year.

CARD FOR HUSBAND
Die cut PAPERTREY INK Woodwork die in grey card and adhere to A7 card. Die cut Simon Says Stamp DETAILED LEAF CLUSTER Wafer Die in green card and Simon Says Stamp CLUSTERED LEAVES Wafer Die in vellum. Ink leaf die cut with Distress Ink Crushed Olive. Adhere leaf die cuts to card with liquid glue.
Stamp ‘Birthday hugs’ in Versafine Habanero ink and die cut with Gemini Stitch Edge Circle Papercraft Die. The sentiment ‘to my darling husband’ I printed in the font ‘Courier New’, size 11 and adhered to card with adhesive strip foam.
CARD FOR DADDY
Die cut PAPERTREY INK Woodwork die in grey card and ink with distress ink Salty Ocean and Weathered Wood. Die cut leaves from Altenew Just Leaves dies set in various cards and vellum. Ink die cuts with distress ink Crushed Olive and Forest Moss.
Adhered ‘wood panel’ and inked die cuts to A2 card. Adhere die cut and inked leaf die cuts in a cluster with liquid glue.
Die cut the word ‘DADDY’ with Altenew Fine Alphabet dies with grey card and layer with a few layers of card for dimension. Adhere the letters to card to form the word ‘ DADDY’ and ‘Happy Birthday’ stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink for card.
