Altenew Level 2 AECP - With A Twist
This post which includes a video shows how I create three cards inspired by the Altenew Level 2, With A Twist online class for the Altenew Educator Certification Program. The online class by Therese Calvird was very inspiring. As I have always been a fan of shaker cards, I decide to make shaker cards [wait for it] with a twist!
The video below shows how I make shaker cards without any foam. These are not your typical shaker cards - no foam is used. Instead die cuts are layered to form the vessel for the shaker embellishments and with the aid of an acetate die cut convert them into shaker items. I make 10 cards using the ALTENEW Floral Doodles die set and the ALTENEW Craft-A-Flower Tulips die set.
Note: If you do not have acetate, use the plastic packaging that comes with your stamps and dies. Also smaller embellishments is recommended for this technique.
